Trenton Street Baptist Church Preschool and Child Care is a private, non-profit organization licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services and strives to exceed all requirements set forth in the TN child care licensing rules and regulations.  We are governed by the Trenton Street Baptist Church Day Care Committee. This committee consists of nominated church members who rotate and the pastor. All policies and procedures must meet with the board’s  recommendation and approval. Teachers’ immediate supervisor is the director. 

 All employees shall subscribe to the Baptist faith and doctrine, as well as the policies of Trenton Street Baptist Church.  All employees must be Christian like, in good standing and attending a church. The standards of Trenton Street Baptist Church Child Care begin with the caregivers who are of good moral character ascribing to high moral standards. 

Our staff must be committed to the ongoing operation of our center by being punctual,  dependable, using lunch and break privileges responsibly, and using annual leave  according to established policy. Business hours are from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. A normal workday should not exceed 8 consecutive hours. A normal pay period should not exceed 80 clock  hours.

If we have the availability you may bring your child to work for a 50% discounted rate. We only accept ages 16m and up. If your child goes to Bowers school they would be able to be picked up and dropped off here at the Childcare by the bus.
